  10. <para>Finally, clean up some extra files left around from running tests:</para>

  12. <para>From now on, when reentering the chroot environment after
  13. exiting, use the following modified chroot command:</para>

  18. <para>The reason for this is that the programs in <filename
  19. class="directory">/tools</filename> are no longer needed. Since they are no
  20. longer needed you can delete the <filename class="directory">/tools</filename>
  21. directory if so desired.</para>

  23. <para>Removing <filename class="directory">/tools</filename> will also
  24. remove the temporary copies of Tcl, Expect, and DejaGNU which were used
  25. for running the toolchain tests. If you need these programs later on,
  26. they will need to be recompiled and re-installed. The BLFS book has
  27. instructions for this (see <ulink url="&blfs-root;"/>).</para>

  31. or through a reboot, ensure that the virtual kernel file systems are mounted
  32. when reentering the chroot. This process was explained in <xref
