<title>Installation of Glibc</title>

<para>
Unpack the glibc-linuxthreads in the glibc-2.2.1 directory, not in 
/usr/src. Don't enter the created directories. Just unpack them and 
leave it with that.

Install Glibc by running the following commands:

	<userinput>mv config.make~ config.make &amp;&amp;</userinput>
	<userinput>make &amp;&amp;</userinput>
	<userinput>make install &amp;&amp;</userinput>
	<userinput>make localedata/install-locales &amp;&amp;</userinput>
	<userinput>cp login/pt_chown /usr/bin &amp;&amp;</userinput>
	<userinput>chmod 4755 /usr/bin/pw_chown</userinput>

You can get rid of the "I have no name!" in the bash prompt if you want.
Do this by exiting chroot and re-entering it. Run the following
commands to do that:
